turquoise arches Painting

Oil color ,acrylic , mix media and collage have been used to create the artwork and has led into creation of textures that attracts the visiting eye . Another specification of this artwork is the they have been created by only 2 colors of turquoise and pink and their shades . Despite the limited number of colors and elements such as arches and walls , the artwork has quite a variety . Arches , domes , walls ,doors and windows , all tell a story of an ancient land ،I have recreated this world , the way an artist would imagine that , with combination of arches , a chaos within the structures , a reality within abstraction . I have intended to picture a society that it’s ancient structures are being destroyed ( destructions can be seen in parts of the painting ) while the new structures aren’t accepted by the society yet . Architectural elements have been used as this society’s symbols , a society that the artist lives in . ( arches , domes , Persian patterns , etc ) determine the identity of this land, they are soon to be completely vanished while we are still wandering in the labyrinth
