To me, art practice is a tool to explore my inner self and chalk out my evolution as an individual. My work chalks out a pedestrian itinerary whereby a simple walk around the society, results in a few lingering images that I am compelled to translate onto surfaces. However, this translation isn't merely a literal one. Rather, elements from my subconscious inform these images. These resulting visuals also convey a very unreal sense of the spaces around me. It's about the experience of an individual with different times, spaces and people with different states of mind. I collect the images in form of sketches and photography by walking around, looking at crowd of people, interacting with them. I'm trying to build a sense of identity from my own observation in visual form and sometimes I get helped with words but I always try to use them in a poetic manner. I believe that my visuals and my words are my expansion.
