Boris Vasiliev-Sazanov was born on September 23, 1952, in Moscow, Russia. In 1954, his family moved to Minsk, Belorussia. Artistically, Boris Vasiliev-Sazanov prefers abstract painting. Combining classical principles of composition and painting with a child-like immediacy, he achieves unique visual effects. The main goal of his art is to straighten the representation of the drama of the collision of various energies in the Universe, while maintaining a strong optimistic perspective. Although, at first glance, his paintings could appear as the chaotic spills of paint, after the attentive study they become alive, as if their unexplored worlds open to the viewer the mysteries of the new dimensions. Vasiliev-Sazanov uses enamel paint on orgalite, with the addition of foreign elements of various substance. Works in private collections in Belorussia, Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, USA, Israel, and Lebanon. www.artrussian.com/vasiliev-sazanov/
