"I Dream Of You In Colors That Don't Exist" Painting

In size 48x48 this stunning, hand-cut piece of fluorescent yellow plexi glass features a dreamy quote written over it. "I Dream Of You In Colors That Don't Exist." is the second piece I created piece for my plexi glass series. Each piece features a quote written in thick white paint to enhance the fluorescent yellow, semi-transparent color. The custom cut 2-inch white wood frame adds a sense of dimension to this piece, which also compliments the white acrylic paint to produce a truly unique and beautiful piece of art. I was inspired to create this piece after one of the first artworks I've made about 6 years ago- when I was walking by a few store-front windows and saw some that were partially painted up to enhance the window display. I then decided to experiment with clear glass and spray paint to create a piece that was half transparent and half painted. Years later, I revised this idea and decided to paint up quotes onto colorfully vibrant pieces of plexiglass. This piece has been an eye-catcher to anyone who has seen it, and has been one of my most frequently requested commissioned artworks.
