I'm working on a series of new paintings depicting the history of the Scout motorcycles family by Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Company, Springfield, Massachusetts. First Scout was designed in 1919 and introduced to the market and professional riders in 1920.
In 2020 we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Indian Scout. Let me introduce you to the next beauty in the Indian Scout family:
1939 Indian Model 539 Junior Scout powered by Air-cooled V-Twin 30.50 CI (500cc) 20 h.p. engine.
This masterpiece of American industry was released in 1933 as "the Thirty-Fifty" and remained in production for the civilian market up to 1941.
