About The Artwork
This piece has a smooth background with an impasto foreground. The painting continues around the edges of the hardboard surface, so it does not require framing. It has hardware so that it can be hung both vertically and horizontally. Only professional grade paints were used in order to ensure archival quality. On a personal note, this piece is one of my favorites. I chose the palette and composition that I find the most soothing. As a result, I have not been showing it outside of my home. When it sells, I will probably make something similar, so it can continue to be the last thing I see before I go to sleep at night.
