About The Artwork
The painting was inspired by a poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson about death. it was painted with acrylic ink on art paper without the use of a brush. This is the best method I know of getting my feelings on paper in colour. I hope the viewer gets my feeling of loss from this painting. I am not aware of another artist painting in this style.

Hi I,m a retired engineer and I have painted all my life both my parents also painted mainly in oils. Although lately I have painted in water paints and acrylic.
