I believe we are all walkers of life. We are all pursuers of answers, and there is a big possibility we all might be heading to the same destiny that at the end we will unite us all. Yes, we all come from different cultures and backgrounds, of unique exuberant colors and experiences. Yet, we all are humans, and we belong to the same beautiful and amazing world. In my art, I represent that trajectory through my walkers. They are the protagonists of the compositions and they come alive in thick oil impastos. Always in a quest but never alone. In my paintings I am trying to transport you to those places of my imagination where we are often find ourselves. I want to touch your soul, open your heart, and invite you to walk with me.

Herrera is an experienced artist with works in private collections worldwide, has shown her work in important Museums in Mexico, and has received several awards. Herrera is a member of several Arts Organizations and serves in the Board of Directors of the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. And has her studio North Texas USA.
