Paper Airplanes II is from my Paper Airplane or Perspective series. This particular painting has the viewpoint of being inside the airplane looking out. The series is conceptual and the airplane metaphor is perspective. By changing our perspective we can easily change how we perceive people and situations. Thus, leading to a better relationship, solving a situation or perhaps surrender. The clouds and sky represent spirit, the unknown, universe and oneness.

This is a new series of works I am painting using various acrylic paint recipes for the layers. I like the physicality of working in this large format. Working with the canvas on the ground, pouring paint onto it, tilting it in various directions, and pushing paint around with various tools as squeegees, spatulas & drywall tools lead to an interesting energetic composition. I titled the painting with the dominant color I used and intend on making more painting this size with different colors. My intent is that they are hung in groups, both in varying colors and multiples of the same color with different patterning. In the event there is a smaller interior, I would be flattered if only one would be chosen as well.
