About The Artwork
This work was inspired by the sweat, blood and tears of our Lord and Savior. His passion was great on that last evening. The Devil offered easy alternatives to God's plan, but Jesus overcame temptations and horrific visions of hell and the people therein who would reject Him. He saw the many suffering there. This, I believe was His greatest temptation. Not all would come to accept God's great gift. The serpent was sent by Satan to induce fear and temptation in our Lord. Out of the serpent's mouth a halo forms over our Lord's head.
