CONCEPT: АrtЕxtreme 15 is a multi-genre exhibition – an appeal for re-discovery and appreciation of Bulgarian cultural heritage's value. Inspired by the great Bulgarian sculptor Kiril Shivarov. 15 artworks reveal the human experience in the one-of-a-kind architectural and ethnographic ambiance of Varna. Collection of Bulgarian embroideries, folklore costumes, and adornments embody the connection between past and present. ArtExtreme's models are world-famous ballet stars. Everything is brought together with specially composed music by Ivan Krastev and videos of the ballet dancers. Occasionally the viewers name the artworks as “meditative" and “healing” because, in the presence of the images, they feel happy and life-giving.
