#9 unt. 2003, 65x75 cm Sugg.frame 1,05x1m Series rooms Photograph - Limited Edition of 6

This early work was created in 2003 to be shown at the Die Große Kunstausstellung NRW, Düsseldorf. A series of space-installative color field works by Willy Oster in 1996 were photographically accompanied and documented by SG Koezle. They were only briefly on view in their original form in the demolition site (in fact Germany's last celluloid factory in Meerbusch) that had been provided for artistic remodeling by Oster. A few years later, OSTER+KOEZLE came together to jointly generate photo-artistic works from the photographic material. This was the beginning of the collaboration of the artist duo. The installative-painterly spatial interventions, which at that time were still shot with analog medium and large format cameras, were digitized in the joint work from the beginning, in order to optimize them afterwards with a photo editing app. Cropping, color grading, slight retouching and determination of output size and presentation form were discussed in detail in joint sessions and technically implemented by SG Koezle. A way of collaborating, that has basically survived to this day. This #009, Untitled, 2003, Ed. 2/6 will be printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315 g/sqm with a white border. The motive will be a few millimeters larger than the size of 65x75 cm to allow the passepartout fully cover the borders without the issue of 'flashing' white background. To achieve the full benefits of this state-of-the-art fine art piece, we recommend mounting it on 2 or 3 mm Alu-Dibond and a framing with a passepartout of 105x100 cm (H/W).
