All Things Bloom Where There Is Love Photograph

This photograph is of a David Austen - Jude The Obscure rose from a bush I planted two springs ago. I love this rose because of its rich fragrance and soft, peachy blooms. Its fragrance truly is the most beautiful I have ever smelled from a rose. The story behind this rose is that I was not too certain that it was going to survive the summer after I planted it. It was struggling with black spot and had stunted growth. I really wanted this rose to survive, so I said a prayer and gave it some TLC. After two summers, a fight with black spot and two plagues of Japanese Beetles, this rose is still surviving and continues to bloom. I credit it to my prayer and giving it a little extra love.
