Aminadav Forest i 2 Jan 2015 Photograph - Limited Edition of 100

Just beyond Aminadav, which is a kibbutz on the Western outskirts of Jerusalem. Jerusalem pine and oak are common trees here. There had been some tree clearing done, some of it from earlier snowstorms. The day was cloudy and a little chilly, and sometimes the sun shone hazily through high clouds, or thin low clouds. I try to avoid direct sunlight in this series, so it was a bit nerve racking sometimes waiting for the clouds to pass overhead. As usual, no changes made to the pictures except for an adjustment to brightness and sometimes contrast. The original images were converted to B&W. A tripod was used.
