About The Artwork
SUBJECT: Building in Tenerife, Spain shot taken with a camera converted to a wavelength of 700NM (IR). Infrared or infrared radiation is electromagnetic radiation with a frequency lower than that of radio waves but higher than that of visible light. Infrared radiation manages to impress the sensor of digital cameras allowing to create images with "altered" colors compared to a normal photograph. The shot has strong infrared dominants, black and white images with a strong character and a good visual impact. Black and white is the right destination for photos that are born already monochrome and just need to see their tonal range remodeled to be more acceptable to observation. Since infrared generates more intensity in warm areas of the scene, sunlit areas will generate shots with strong visual contrast. PHOTOGRAPHIC PAPER : The image is hand-printed on Hahnemühle - FineArt Pearl paper, 285 g/m², 100% pearlescent brilliant white α-cellulose, the print has a 3 cm white border, to better adapt it to a subsequent framing or to the montage.
