About The Artwork

This was a very lucky shot. I was driving along the west coast of Izu peninsula just before sunset, looking for a place to park my car and spend the night. Summer in Japan can be pretty unpredictable, with sudden storms hitting with almost no notice. This was the case: I saw this huge rain cloud approaching the coast, and only had the time to take a couple of shots before torrential rain hit me. I run back to my car, soaked but happy, because I knew I captured something different and impossible to replicate. It was a lot of fun. The original is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Satin 310 gsm 100% Cotton white satin-finish paper and manually signed.
