About The Artwork
The Combe Haven River drains the 1066 Battlefield at Senlac. King Harold, it is said, was killed with an arrow in the eye. How appropriate then that in this river grows the beautiful Arrowhead plant, saggitaria saggitifolia. This river is one of my favourite haunts - rich in wildlife and natural scenery. I hope you like this image and that it is useful for background posters in exhibitions.
