About The Artwork

I often observe birds sitting on a wire between telephone lines. I often wondered what they were thinking when they saw me snapping photographs of them. Imagine yourself sitting on a wire, watching all the chaos below. What would you be thinking? In most of my work, I blend different photos to achieve a more striking finished image. Birds On A Wire contains three images, the birds on the wire, the sun shining through a diffused window with raindrops, and a reddish sunset with a dash of digital enhancement.

Vincent discovered photography at an early age during high school. He says, “It was an incredible stroke of luck for me to land a part-time job as a photographer for a local newspaper.” At that time, his focus was photojournalism, and this one event sparked a passion for taking pictures that have lasted an entire lifetime. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Vincent entered the Air Force after high school. He traveled to Japan during this time and began photographing the beautiful landscapes of this spectacular country. His opportunity for flying around the world opened another door for him and led him to find a passion for travel. Vincent studied photography in college but is mostly self-taught. While struggling to find his way in the photography world, he decided to become a traveling photographer taking “Old Time Photo Portraits” at Fairs and Craft Shows. Several years later, Vincent became an assistant for a San Francisco photographer who specialized in fashion photography. Then one year after, he opened his photography studio in Sacramento dedicated to Advertising and Fashion photography. Today you can find Vincent sitting in front of his computer, creating surreal composite images from many of his travel photographs. His focus now is to create images that have a shared commonality. Images that directly reflect the reality of life.
