Ships in a Tube
I've always loved Vespa scooters ever since I was a kid growing up in East Boston when my friend Maxie took me on a death defying ride. It would take me a chapter to describe but all these years later I can still feel the old coble-stones and the breeze that relieved the hot city night. This photo was processed and then “painted” using digital brushes. Edition of (30) signed and numbered digital archival prints made by the artist on Canson Infinity Baryta paper and pigment inks. This fine art paper has a similar surface to that used in traditional silver fiber prints. It allows for high image definition and 3-dimensional color depth. Your print will be packaged using an industry standard method. It will be protected on both sides with acid free material, rolled on a tube, rolled again with bubble wrap and inserted into another tube for shipping. A border of 1” or more will be added to stated dimensions so it is ready for framing.

"When we live our life, things happen. My intent is always to connect a thread from my life's experiences to my work. It is the conversation that I have with the rest of the world." When I came to America from the U.K. at the age of 8 my grandfather, a working artist, spent years teaching me. He showed me the power of composition and led me to see and recognize the direction, color and quality of light. Later-on, growing up in East Boston as an inner-city kid, I was recognized by and given a scholarship to the MFA Boston. It changed my life. I have been working as an independent, professional still photographer for my entire career. My job is to create strong, visually intelligent photographs every time. I have photographed hundreds of major campaigns and shot my way around the world several times on behalf of US business. My personal work is what fulfills and comforts me. It makes things right. I love to show what I find. "We all possess a glimmer, an intangible quality that can only exist inside. If we feel or don't feel, observe or look away, that's who we are. It's as simple as a concept that says, live here and now."
