About The Artwork
We often go to Leigh on Sea in Thames estuary. Tides come in and out and behind it leaves seaweed, shells, bits of crabs fish. and whatever people left from day before. I collect it and rearrange it. The ephemeral becomes fixed by camera and then the nature will do its own re-arrangement. The top was made first and then it was followed by two lower ones with some variations. Colour of the sand changed as it drained from seawater.
