WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THE VIRUSE HAD INFECTED THE TREES? By transpiring nature we transpire health. Perspiring nature we sweat health We can not ignore what is currently happening, we are losing our parents, grandparents, friends. Who would have thought that we would find ourselves in a situation like this where the most precious thing we have would be directly affected, the family. Where suffering would also affect economic well-being, leading many families to find themselfs at risk. For many years now I have dedicated my work as a visual artist to respect for nature, to the need to look for the most authentic thing we have, the most decontaminated, the most openly respectful of its environment, in short, what feeds us, oxygenates us and welcomes us in order to live and be enriched by what it offers us. My latest collections talks about trees crying, crying because they feel little respected, crying perhaps because they still have a shred of hope and nature is breaking downs, of despair, of neglect, of abandonment. These days I have felt even more the need to relive what it means to be surrounded by trees, by nature, by silence, by smells, by the breeze, we have been able to touch but we have not been allowed to do so with our hands directly, we have needed a filter so as not to be infected, we have been not able to feel the direct touch. But the new epidermis, like all our habits, has adapted to the situation, has made use of a natural metamorphosis and has felt the same need as I did to become what I wanted, the new skin has worked as a protective barrier against the outside, so that we can take care of ourselves from illnesses, it will be this one that will act as a defender from what is harmful to our organism, so I have transformed them into nature and they have started to sweat health. Because nature is health. But, today, what comes to mind is, what would have happened if the virus had attacked nature? Isn’t it that nature is sending us a warning message? It is not fear, it is prudence!
