About The Artwork

This photograph is captured on a 20x24" piece of glass using historic dry collodion negative method invented in 1856. The print is a salt print, which uses ammonium chloride, gelatin and silver nitrate to sensitize the paper before being placed in direct contact with the negative and placed in the sun. The print is toned in gold chloride, signed, numbered 2/5 and waxed with bees wax and lavender oil. The frame is professional framed by the artist, w/ all acid free materials and museum glass. The capture is taken from the grounds of the State Capital in Madison, WI in 2019.
