About The Artwork
I took these photos while living in the Cayman Islands. The title is Caribbean Leaves. The composition is radial and it is meant to evoke a peaceful, meditative response. The original version of this piece is 48" x 48" and is in a private collection in Bermuda. It is scalable to about 14' x 14'. Four of the six existing editions (20" x 20") were sold at the Kennedy Gallery on Grand Cayman Island, BWI. Original will be professionally printed at an artist print studio in Philadelphia as part of the original series on fine art paper. This piece will be numbered and signed by the artist. Open edition prints/ canvases shipped directly from Saatchi will not be numbered/ signed.

Kristin Osgood Lamelas is a Philadelphia born artist, currently living in New Jersey. She donated a kidney to her father in 2011. Since then, her mixed-media paintings reference aerial views of specific landscapes and images of cells from her own body. Lamelas holds an MFA and a BFA from Moore College of Art and Design and an Art Education certification from Rowan University. She has traveled extensively and has studied at the Florence Academy of Art, Laguna College of Art, Studio Incamminati, Pennsylvania Academy of Art and SACI. She worked as a Graphic Design and Photography teacher in New Jersey for 18 years. She was President of the Women's Caucus for Art Philadelphia Chapter from 2012-2015. She is currently raising a daughter with her husband and is enjoying seeing the world through her eyes. She is happily married and is enjoying life.
