Description: Antiquities of Taracus.
Item: 1008.2
Ceremonial Object unearthed in the Durian Excavations, Taracus 2123. Possibly used as a marker for distance, or a tombstone for a genetically unrelated family member. It is feasible that the flat faade could be read from bottom to top, right to left. Interestingly, the highly polished extremities on the opposing side of the object are believed to be the result from decades of rubbing or touching. Who or what touched the object and why, is still unclear. This does however provide some proof that the contoured side of the object was of equal importance to many of its visitors.
