The interaction between human beings and the objective reality is the central topic of the artistic production of Julyo. The life of Julyo is the starting point of the creative process: Julyo lives in Asia, Europe and the Americas and has been rock musician, sailor, database analyst, journalist, collector of debts to banks, telephone operator, music video director, DJ, military nurse and ufologist. Julyo has collaborated and worked with Laurence Gartel (Andy Wharol, Apple Inc.), Arthur C. Clarke, David Lynch, Ron English and Masahiro Kahata (Mariko Mori's "Wave UFO"). During 2005 he pioneered live video mixing and "lo-fi image-sound' manipulation, performing both as VJ and performance artist in Tokyo, JP collaborating with art collectives and live music venues like Womb, MOJOs, Heartland Julyo has designed both visual and sound creations for Absolut Vodka, Coca Cola, Calvin Klein, D&G and NBC Television. The New York Post, La Republica, El Pais and T&M Japan Television have featured Julyo's work featuring interviews a documentaries on Julyo's artistic activity.
