About The Artwork

City of Boxes: Unveiling the Poetry within Urban Containers and Skylines Limited Edition Fine Art from an International Awarded Fine Art Photographer. ----- This image is available in a limited edition of 10 with a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by the photographer Werner Roelandt. After the sale, the Limited Edition will be printed by high-quality inkjet printers on Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper (archival museum quality) and mounted on a 2 mm Dibond aluminium. (2-3 weeks production time), signed by photographer and shipped (carbon box). ----- In “City of Boxes," a part of his "Contained Perspectives" Fine Art project, Werner delves into the fascinating world of containers, transforming these industrial giants into an urban elegance of steel and creating a skyline. This series explores the complex interaction between the raw steel and the quiet serenity that can be found within these urban titans. Through the lens of his camera, he seeks to capture the essence of these mysterious structures, revealing the hidden beauty that lies within the cold, hard exterior. Each image is a testament to the harmony that can exist in even the most imposing of industrial landscapes, inviting viewers to unveil the poetry within Urban Containers and Skylines urban life and the art of the everyday. ----- Werner Roelandt received many awards and nominations at photo competitions in New York, Paris, Los Angeles, London, Budapest, Vienna, Tokyo and Amsterdam and his images can be found in several European and American private collections. Representated by galleries in Belgium (Ghent) and France (Paris)

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

When the international awarded photographer Werner Roelandt looked straight down more than 600 meters from the Preikestolen in Norway, he got the idea for “The World From Above”. The vertical image was fantastic and completely different from how we normally look to the world. He would change the horizontal perspective and look at the world "from above" from now on. All photos from the fineart photography project “The World From Above” were taken straight down from public places open to everyone. All this without using a drone.
