Hello There ! This is my most advanced technique when it comes to channeling Monet's work in his style.Only in this one rare situation I have channeled both Van Gogh and Monet. This is another such image where I channel Seurat in the same manner to see what I come up with. Today we have Cezanne making things fresh for us again. Now I am channeling Marc Chagall here. The creation of this work is because I am trying to channel Claude Monet with my oeuvre. In the past, I have done it successfully with El Greco; so maybe doing it another time will prove fruitful. It is indeed satisfying having a recognized subject matter that has not been exploited by so many enthusiastic professionals. So, I think of these various personalities, Monet, Suerat and El Greco, while I am swimming looking for images. I just let anyone of these talented artists fill my mind and go off on an adventure taking pictures with and for them. This is also a heart warming thesis that is so worthy being photographed. It enhances my personal artwork; because it has been influenced by Monet. If any work of art is to sooth and bring enjoyment; then this is the image that I hope does that. Currently, I have been seriously expanding my visual vocabulary when it comes to imitating a master painter by also using Seurat. This is a photograph I took looking for those qualities in Monet's work using Georges Seurats technique on top of that.. I then turn the photograph with these concepts in mind into a painting with Photoshop. I then blend this image with the original photograph creating a unique Hybrid.Which is the best of three worlds. I would like to hope Monet would be impressed and Suerat would be pleased with inspiration.. In order to capture these kind of photographs, for the last five years; I have been feeding these fish on a daily basis durning the summer. They are friendly with me and follow me around the fish pond.So that is how I managed to get these Photographic Images to start the process of transposing them with Suerat and Monet. Besides all of that, I chose the fish as my subject for its positive associations across cultures and spiritual traditions. In Greco-Roman mythology, the fish often symbolized sacred transformation. In Christianity, it is associated with faith and abundance, as in the story of the loaves and fishes. In Buddhism, it symbolizes happiness and freedom. These images are printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Photographic Paper using archival inks on a matt surface.
