Contemplation - Collection Bain de Minuit Photograph - Limited Edition of 30

My "Midnight Bath" collection was inspired by classical painters like François Millet, Ingres and others. I want to tell about life here in the Basque country and focus on the intimate stories on the beaches, here during the magical moments of summer nights. Here the photograph was taken in St Jean de luz. The choice of movement, of light are in order to express the essential: the magic and the fleetingness of these moments nevertheless engraved for life in our memories. In this blur of passing time, it is the clear line of the moment that I am looking for. I pay particular attention to the choice of a framing in the scene, approaching a real visual "staging". In painting we choose the subject, in photography the subject is there before my eyes and I choose its staging. Photographs have not been pasted or digitally overlaid Prints only on Fine Art matte 310g paper - Signed and numbered on the back of the print.
