Cranis (Triptych) - Limited Edition of 11 Photograph

Joan Sorolla was born in 1956 in Terrassa (Catalonia). He starts working professionally in photography in the magazine “POPULAR 1″, in the early 80’s, as a photojournalist in the field of rock concerts and portraiture in musicians interviews. From this period are sporadic collaborations “Sal Común”, “Rock de Lux” and “Interviu” magazines too. After this first period, he focused his professional work on teaching but without leaving photography, albeit in an amateur manner. However, since 2010 he intensified his photographic work again. This includes the realization of photographic exhibitions in different cities like Barcelona, Granollers, Mataró, Céret, Perpignan ... and the self-publishing of two photographic books. Starting in 2013 but, especially, after 2016 his work incorporates again the chemical photography in both 35mm, 120 films and sheet film too. He also co-founded a startup company in the year 2000 called Mediatiks, a brand dedicated to multimedia and web services.
