Daisies, have an association with friendship, be that through the sharing of daisy chains, or a bouquet of asters. The shallow depth of field focused on the beckoning petals at the front of the flower draw you into the picture, with the distant but hinting at some future bloom. Like others in this series, the rendering in black and white helps make its transitory beauty appear timeless, while embodying its fleeting ephemeral nature. I'm offering this in two editions; a signed limited edition print of 10, and regular issued prints. There are five of the limited edition available at this time Nrs.1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of 10. The limited edition print is produced using archival paper. It is supplied unmounted. The Image size is 10" x 15" with an additional border at the bottom to accommodate the signature and details. The aim with the limited edition pictures is to present a set of pictures that can be hung in a small group to compliment each other and evoke similar feelings. The unlimited prints are offered in larger sizes.

United Kingdom
Back in the 1980s I was a professional photographer, specialising in editorial, fashion and advertising, working mainly in medium and large format. During this period I contributed to leading publications and worked for a number of blue chip clients. Alas, the working briefs prescribed by the commercial world was far far away from the work I wanted to produce. This being so, I left photography behind me, not touching a camera for decades, and drifted into writing. Now, decades later a relatives request and writing has brought me back into the realm of creating photos - to a place where I would have been happier back in the day, able to pursue subjects that I like in a way that I like. …and hopefully in a manner that I hope that you like as well.
