About The Artwork
Part 2 of Megawatt photo group. As a part of my research on light, I developed here a technic that consists in the use of the body - hands, shoulders, legs - as a pencil during a drawing with the light. As a neuromarketing researcher, in 2021 I studied the importance of stimuli in everyday life, considering the particular relations between the outside world and the brain's response to it. Here, I followed a slower and softer way of moving my body while studying the light. The complex movements I did were more similar to meditation than a dance. This photo was taken during a night in Milan (2021), with a Canon PowerShot A460. It was not edited in any way.
