ART DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Dreaming" As the name implies, this image draws us into the altered reality we often find once we fall asleep. Where our perceptions change and we find ourselves continuing to repeat a certain theme. Images in which we're completely mesmerized are all swirling around us until we're completely engulfed in the experience. Of course its only conceptual, but the pattern is the same. However, this representation alludes to this experience and the contoured lines and leaf patterns are so compelling they draw on our altered senses. PRINT DETAILS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Limited to an edition of 15 regardless of size. This means I will produce only 15 original signed prints of this image regardless of size. This print will include an 1 1/2" border that will be signed & numbered. Comes with a signed & numbered Certificate of Authenticity. This image will be printed using archival inks and Moab Somerset Museum Rag Fine Art Paper. This paper is 300gsm 100% Cotton, Mould Made, Radiant White, Pro Semi-gloss, and Buffered with CACO3. Please note that the estimated production time (delivery time not included) is 10-15 working days as this limited edition artwork is made to order.

Brandon LeValley (1954) is a photographic artist from the United States. In 1976 he graduated from Washington State University where his Bachelor’s Degree included Art studies. He’s always had a passion for photography. That desire was fueled early in life when he was still shooting film and utilizing a darkroom to process images. Holding a final print offered a world of experience seeing how the light on a subject materialized. Years later he realized the digital camera had revolutionized processing. Today, he converts most images to black and white and often shoots botanicals for their dramatic lines and shape. He’s also drawn to architecture and landscapes. Living near Joshua Tree National Park provides many dramatic configurations that come from his explorations. While his journey in photography has evolved, it’s often ignited by striking lighting. He’s fascinated by the abstract and uses every tool to achieve a finished composition. A unique image, he believes, comes about by a disciplined and oftentimes exhaustive approach. Knowing the payoff can be rewarding, that commitment to detail ultimately renders a more compelling work.
