Valle de la Luna in Chile is a well known attraction close to San Pedro de Atacama. I come her once in a while, its a fascinating place who has much more to offer than the eye meets. I must have passed by this Dune in at least 10 ocasions, but this time the cloud gave a special image. Soft shadows of the setting sun contributed to stand out a soft texture on the dune and elevations in front of it. I chose to show this image in black and white to attract attention to this very details of form and texture. Eliminating the potent blue of the sky and redish color of the sand.
