I am a photographer based in Los Angeles. Primarily I have shot portraits for the past forty years going back to the mid 1970s. Starting out in New York City, where I grew up, shooting for Interview Magazine. Which initially launched my career when I was quite young. My studio was on Broadway right across the street from Interview & The Factory. My subjects have been celebrated people in the arts. Took a long break from it all at the onset of the digital age. Coming back to it several years ago I've been shooting more personal work, street life and playing around with mixed media. Currently writing a one man show for theater sharing my photographs and stories of celebrityland. Cheers......Michael Tighe
