Art Description

Photography: Color, Digital on Paper.

The Faerie Pools of Scotland, on the Isle of Skye, are renown in local folklore for their association with enchanted beings. The pools are nestled high in the hills of the Black Cuillin Mountains which are remnants of huge volcanoes made up of Gabbro, an intensely hard, old, green igneous rock usually found under the ocean. It’s hardly surprising that tourists travel from far and wide to look into the water and see if they can catch a glimpse of the legendary creatures that are said to inhabit the pools.
