The Chicago Furniture Co. has been passed through several generations in its storefront on Cottage Grove Avenue in Bronzeville since opening during the Great Depression, in 1934. I took this shot while walking by its east-facing facade one morning, with the shadows and reflections providing a stunning drama to the resilient family business.
