About The Artwork
A digitally processed original photograph of the Lighthouse at Cascais, Portugal. The original has been converted to an Acrylic print in a fine art style.This process was done manually, not by using photoshop presets and took many hours of work to obtain a print imperceptible from a painting using traditional paint and brushes. The photograph was taken in the twilight with the lights reflected on a calm sea and the lights of a passing ship can be seen in the distance. I have chosen this approach to my photography because I think it creates a unique piece from an instantaneous moment in time processed by an artistic method resulting in a beautiful piece of art.
