Field Poppy - Limited Edition 1 of 2 Photograph

I like to photograph flowers in their natural habitat. This was on the edge of the field and really contrasted against the green back drop. I like the way the papery texture of the flower is caught contrasting the melee in the background. The bud of a cranesbill adds a sense of place. I hope this will trigger memories of walks in summer meadows full on bright red poppies. The texture of the canvas gives added depth to the image.
