About The Artwork

In Eastern Uganda, fishermen use very small boats to set traps on the rivers. They are able to feed their families with the fish they catch and sell in the market. This part of the river is very shallow and the fisherman uses a long stick to push the boat as he navigates the water to check on his traps. I saw a dedicated father, working hard to feed his family, and I want to tell his story. I used my DSLR camera, my traveling companion.
