About The Artwork

It is believed that the way we look at art is based on our individual experience and current life situation. The purpose of my non-representational abstract works is to create a slight detachment from reality, to let people perceive beyond the tangible. Producing these object-free, colorful images could evoke various scenarios and communicate deeper themes and emotions common to all cultures. To see the unseen, to loose yourself, find yourself, view the world differently. Titles of my works picturing arbitrary scenarios aim to push the imagination of the viewer beyond what is perceived as reality. “But nobody is visually naive any longer. We are cluttered with images, and only abstract art can bring us to the threshold of the divine.” - Dominique De Menil, The Rothko Chapel: Writings on Art and the Threshold of the Divine
