'FOREST STORIES' - a photo of a Cladonia Pixi-cup lichen, captured in the forest of Sweden, 2021. In the forest everything connects with everything in a harmony, it seems to me that life in Nature is all about connections and cooperation. Even if you look at the forest floor, inhabited by tiny species, you see the harmony of neighboring different lichens and mosses. And the lichens themselves are the bright representative of collaboration in a harmony, in which everyone wins, as they emerge from the symbiosis of fungus and seaweed. Fungus gives protection and seaweed produces energy, and working together they create a lichen, that is able to survive where fungus or seaweed, and many others can’t. Cooperation, when everyone wins - is what a forest tells us about! Navigating life with Aphantasia, Inna's mind doesn't visualise, but it pulsates with vivid concepts, emotions, and sensations. She uses her camera not merely to explore the world but to externalise her unique mental landscapes, making them visible.
