Caio Caruso was born in São Paulo in 1976, he lived in several cities around the world and is based in the State of São Paulo. He has an instinctive look that is mixed with a technical skill in his production, which makes his work move between languages. His research related mainly to the plasticity of improbable elements has been developing since the early 2000s when he was dedicated to graphic design. Graduated in Visual Arts - at the Centro Universitário Belas Artes in São Paulo, he is specialized in printmaking, photography and drawing through several courses. He was a member of the Research Group on Art and Technology at NAT Nucleus of Art and Technology at Faculdade Santa Marcelina and SESI FILE Labo.); lived in Bassano Del Grappa, (Italy 2016) where he produced artistic works of drawing, photography, ceramics and printmaking. Developed graphic research related to wood growth and dryness in Bouder, Colorado (USA 2018). In 2019 he lived an experience in the forests of Acre inserted in an indigenous village of the ethnic Huni Kuin, which expanded the fields of his poetics, colour perception and resulting in a new perspectives in his productions.
