This is a photograph taken of a foxglove growing in my garden. I took the photo from underneath the flower head, with the sky above. I love this photo, because there is only a glimpse of the foxglove; a tantalising taster, no details, no intimacy, yet the pink against the blue is vivid and the flower becomes almost abstract from this angle. I am in love and awe with the plants which appear every year, in such fabulous colours and shapes, it feels such a priviledge to witness them...
