Healing Abstract#108 - Limited Edition of 1 Photograph

The photographs in the "Healing Abstract" series are an attempt to find the perfect composition. Lights and shadows, gradients and colours, shapes, lines, contours, intersections, gaps and surfaces are my means of expression. I compose them together to create images whose intention is to calm, relax – beauty in simplicity. Freedom of interpretation beyond the literalness of figurative narrative is a space in which there is no need to ask questions, no need to understand, no need to judge. It is a need to rest in something unnamed, unlimited – like gazing at a fire or flowing water. These photographs are also my response to the ubiquitous photographic stories, photographic ego-reports, to over-stimulation caused by the flood of information stimuli. In abstractions I look for the formula of relaxation and rest. I make them not only as an expression of my artistic personality, but also as an artistic decoration that does not disturb the interiors in which we live, in which we work. That is why I call them, “Healing Abstract”. This work its not a collage, just single photo shot of the composition I create.
