About The Artwork

Eleshin in Yoruba language( a language spoken by an indigenous group in South-West Nigeria called Yoruba) means owner or keeper of the horse. In the cities in Nigeria, horses are rare to find but they abound a lot in the beaches. In Elegushi beach, one would find a lot of them, and how they (Eleshin) are able to tame them and even form a human bond with the horses is what this series is about. Igbekele means trust in Yoruba Language. This image was taken at Elegushi beach, Lagos.
