Vintage Gelatin silver print "IN SUMMER DAY", frame 39х40 cm From the author: Summer in the southern city, In the old (Tatar) region of the city of Astrakhan (Russia) .. An elderly woman slowly walks from her house towards the Tatar Bazaar. It's nearby. Basically there they sell: vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, and other food products. In the summer heat, the streets of the old town look deserted ... Style: I always liked the photos of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Doisneau, and I could not help imitating them. This photo looks better in the original than in the listing. The photo is printed in a dark room, and retouched, and is framed in a passepartout and frame by the author. The photo was printed on matte paper (barite) in a dark room, both for a photo exhibition, and for archival storage (very good fixation, and a prolonged final rinse in running water) To protect the photo from harmful effects of the environment, we used: • back carboard of museum quality (100% Cotton, PH = 0) • Archive yellow ribbon (PH = 0) • Archival quality plastic corners (print holder) • Signed in pencil on the back of the print • The image was retouched by the author (mechanical retouch), and the print began to have a finished look. • External Registration in a frame and mat in 2009. • The white frame has slight signs of wear and, if desired, it can be easily replaced with another frame, and the back cardboard and mat can be left. • Frame size: 39 x 40 cm ( 15,3"x 15,7") ( The frame has places of wear marks ) • Image Size: 23 х 27,5 см.
