The waters of Madora Bay in Western Australia are beautiful. In fact the waters around SW Western Australia are some of the nicest I have ever seen. The depth of colour they display is just breathtaking and keeps me coming back again and again. My wife swears that I have just made this shot up in Photoshop using random colours. She doesn't believe that it is real. The truth is that this is virtually straight out of camera. A combination of polarising filter to bring out the colour, and an ND filter to smooth out the already pretty smooth water, produced this stunning effect. Look closely and you can see the transition from the sandy water close to shore, out to the shallow green water and onto the deeper green/blue of the ocean. This stunning photo is printed onto Museo Portfolio Rag, a heavy weight cotton matte rag photo paper that contains no optical brighteners. Every print is meticulously printed by me using the latest colour inks from Epson. The print is then inspected before being signed and embossed. It comes complete with a certificate of authenticity which includes matching hologram numbered tamper proof seals attached to both the certificate and print.
