About The Artwork

A fine Art Photograph of an old African Elephant Bull, taking a mud bath on a warm winter day in Kruger National Park, South Africa. It was the middle of the dry season, with months still ahead before any rain can be expected, any many waterholes were already reduced to thick murky mud. Soon these giants would have no water left at this riverbed, and would have to trek long distances in search of water. A privilege indeed it was to encounter these magnificent Giants.
