When you visit mountain gorillas in the forest, you are warned to not look them straight in the eyes. Especially the silverback mountain gorilla. It might interpret your gaze as a threat. When I saw this baby mountain gorilla it looked so cute, I forgot or I ignored the warning. I kept looking in its eyes and I took pictures. He didn't like it, he climbed the tree in front of me and when he was right above me, he jumped hard on the limb so he could hit me on my head. He then too off and hid behind his father. He proceeded to pound on his chest and making a lot of noise. It was like he was telling me I got you! I took my digital camera on this trip because its easy to carry around.
