Photo print behind acrylic glass 2 mm, mounted on Alu-Dibond panel 3 mm Glossy, frameless. Signed, limited Edition of 7 +1 Is it possible to paint by smartphone camera? — Yes it is! The idea for the photo project «Slow Pix» was born in autumn 2017. I wanted to use my smartphone to capture and dispatch a daily poetic picture, using a visual language which alludes to painting. It was not clear whether it would be possible that the smartphone as a camera would allow for such an undertaking. But I did find this visual language. For the last two years, and every day, I have been painting a mysterious and poetic smartphone picture, and dispatched it without any editing whatsoever. These photographs commit themselves to both the present and the absent, much like a fever curve, without ever committing themselves. They are poetry in their own right; albeit visual poetry in which space, form and color are interdependent in an idiosyncratic way, and which evokes the beholder's own poetic narratives.
